The shock of the attacks created by the September 11 bombing, has never left the traumatized feeling of every individual inside or around the World Trade Center. Here in this book are the two essays that comprise the analyses on how the 9/11 bombing continues to threaten the language of war which is putatively a new kind of absolute war or a war on terror. Parts of this book are different questions on why the ambiguous injury inflicted by the 9/11 bombing is interpreted as mediated events. The 9/11 bombing's various meanings of why it constituted virtual trauma and possible catastrophe were one of Jacques Derrida's main points when asked about the traumatic force of the attacks. Different issues on nationalism are discussed also.
