The will leads up the steep slope to the Height, so the self is in a state of tension. The first level of love is the presence of beauty. In it, relaxation is revealed as serenity, harmony, and balance. Relaxation and serenity on the first level of love make possible the understanding that every human consciousness is only the reflection of Reality and its looking at Itself. And the complete mirror is the Intelligence, the first to have been created and through which all else has its sense only in Completeness. The state of relaxed serenity in which the attraction of Peace can act is granted Mercy: the self lives in the certainty that everything that it loves must be sought in God and from Him.
