The undersigned inhabitants of the State of Pennsylvania respectfully ask that you will repeal no part of the Antikidnaping [sic] Law: and that you will not reenact the old Comity Law—[The Comity Law was a name for the law that allowed Southern slaveholders to hold their slaves in Pennsylvania for up to six months.][Handwritten]
